Kim Tull-Esterbrook is certified through both the 200 and 500 hour teacher training programs at Whole Life Yoga, and is the current owner of the studio. Kim uses yoga as a tool to help her know and understand herself and the world more fully. She has found that yoga, as a practice, helps her move with courage and grace through all the beautiful and challenging things she finds through that searching. She is drawn to the deeper tools of practice and she tries to infuse her asana classes with the richness of the other limbs of yoga. She is drawn to mediation, myth, and sound. She delights in ritual and play, and feels incredibly blessed that her path has led her to the viniyoga tradition. In taking leadership of Whole Life Yoga, she hopes to nurture and foster the vibrant community that already exists and offer practices and tools to deepen connection to self, to spirit, and to one another.
Sheryl Stich is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500. Sheryl came to Viniyoga after recovering from disc hernia surgery in 2002. She also had hip replacement surgery, and found that yoga and breath work not only helped retain her health physically, but also helped mentally and emotionally. She finds much joy and happiness in sharing this "calm awakening" connecting the mind, body and breath with her students.
Suzette Birrell is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, RPYT. She is also a registered prenatal yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. She believes the practice of yoga is a way to live each day with joy by staying healthy both mentally and physically. Suzette brings this passion for life into her teaching, helping people truly live the life they want today and beyond.
Julie Miller is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 200-hour level and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200. She has also completed the iRest Level I Yoga Nidra training. Julie is especially interested in the use of mindfulness practices to address the effects of stress on the body and create a greater sense of peace and wellbeing throughout daily life. Julie seeks to support students in creating practices that suit their individual needs. Her intention is to facilitate awareness of the physical and energetic impact of poses and she encourages taking time throughout class to become aware of subtle shifts. Off the mat, Julie enjoys spending time studying herbal medicine and exploring alternative healing modalities.
Tracy Weber is a certified yoga instructor and yoga therapist through the American Viniyoga Institute's teacher training program and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500. She has also completed advanced studies in prenatal yoga. She originally came to yoga for relief from chronic back pain, and discovered the balance and stress relief yoga provides. Tracy believes that the benefits of yoga are much broader than physical exercise, and that yoga can help people achieve what they want in all areas of life. Note: The yoga therapy components of Tracy's teaching are based on her certification and additional training as a yoga therapist from the American Viniyoga Institute, not derived from her status as an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance Registry.
Jen Boyce is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 200-hour level. Jen has been practicing yoga for many years, finding it the best healthy tool for dealing with stress. Jen appreciates Viniyoga’s focus on breath with movement and adapting poses to the person to make yoga accessible for all. Jen is also a practicing Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist who has nearly 20 years experience working in adult rehabilitation. Areas of interest include: yoga nidra, anxiety, cancer and lymphedema.
Jocelyn Hess is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 200-hour level. She has found that in this day and age, it is so easy to become disconnected, and that yoga reconnects her to her true self. She has felt so much more joy and balance in her life since having a regular yoga practice, and wants others to feel that joy as well. She feels that our minds, body, and breath have so much to offer us, if we can just learn how to use them all together. She loves helping people find yoga and how it can benefit them personally.
Rebecca Bliquez is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program, and is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. She studied prenatal yoga with Margaret Pierce of the Pierce Yoga Program and has completed Lynn Jensen's Yoga for Fertility Teacher Training Level 1. She took up yoga as a complement to her fitness and singing practices and discovered a sense of peace, self-awareness and healing that she attempts to convey to her students through each class. In over ten years of teaching she has enjoyed finding ways to make yoga suit the individual needs of her students and seeing the benefits that result.
Patricia Hedtke is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200. She uses yoga as a means of letting her mind, body, and spirit join hands in partnership. Her goal is to make yoga available to those of a larger, rounder body type.
Alice Mason is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 200-hour level. Alice has been practicing yoga since 2000 and discovered Viniyoga in 2012 when she began taking classes at Whole Life Yoga. It is through these classes and it’s teacher training program that Alice began to realize that yoga had always been more than just a form of exercise to her. Alice came to an awareness that she had been benefitting from the stress relieving aspects of yoga and that yoga allowed her to navigate the daily challenges of life with more ease. Alice enjoys making connections with her students and is enthusiastic about sharing Viniyoga with people of all ages, abilities and body types.
Julia Fay is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 500-hour level, and has been teaching yoga since 2006. She has studied chant with Gina Salá and Sanskrit with Kathryn Payne. Julia finds Viniyoga to be the perfect companion to her own personal chant and meditation practice, allowing one to find a deep level of attunement and connection. She is honored to share her love of chant and spiritual exploration with others and welcomes people of all backgrounds in finding their own connection to Source and the stillness within.
Liziah Richards is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 500-hour level. She has experience teaching yoga to adults, kids and families. She is a therapist, writer, storyteller and performer. Liziah is Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate. She has received a Masters of Arts in Psychology/Systems Counseling from the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Cornish College of the Arts.
Sarah Mercier is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 500-hour level. Living with a chronic illness from childhood is what led Sarah to the mindfulness and breath-centered practices of Viniyoga. Her passion is inspiring others to be the best version of themselves, gain confidence and work to overcome their own personal obstacles. Through yoga, Sarah helps to bring peacefulness and mindfulness to each student, no matter what their age and level of experience.
